I was actually linked to this by another Canadian who thought it was really weird to have a rap version of the national anthem. Listening to it a second time, I still agree that it's really weird, though rap is also one of those genres I never got into.
(When Colbert was in Vancouver, he and one of his guests sang "Oh Canada" to the tune of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Considering I don't think they rehearsed it ahead of time, it was . . . alright. And strange.)
