Well I'm at the last little bit of "City in The Sky" in Twilight Princess :) I'll just say that the fan hopping is tricky, and that Link must have shoulders of steel or something; since if it were me my arms would be pulled out of socket....not that I'd be flexable enough to atempt it anyway ^^;
I gained weight over the break, because it is evident in how tight my new dress pants have become -___-;
What is the 3rd HxH musical called? I thought it had summer in it's title...but I can't remember ^^; (Is there a 3rd musical?)

Date: 2007-01-16 04:02 am (UTC)The Hunter x Hunter live productions are:
[originally performed December 2000; reprised August 2001]
[August 2002]
[August 2004]
(The dates are from the Hunter x Hunter entry on Wikipedia Japan.)
From my understanding, the performance that is commonly referred to as the 'third musical' is actually just the August 2001 reprisal of the first musical; the only differences are that the subtitle 'Déjà vu in Summer' was added and the role of Kurapika was played by Kimura Akiko (who plays Kurapika in the 'Longing for Pakunoda' play) instead of Kaida Yuki, presumably because Kaida was otherwise engaged.
On a semi-related topic, I currently have three different unfinished versions of your Hunter x Hunter Christmas fanfic (I can't decide which opening I like best); it should hopefully be finished within the next two weeks.

Date: 2007-01-22 03:06 pm (UTC)Thanks, I was just editing the Wikipedia entry thing to change "Longing for Pakunoda" to a play instead of it being listed as a musical, and I couldn't remember what the 3rd was called or even if there was one ^^;
I still like Kaida Yuki better as Kurapika. I think it is her face... Even though she is short, I like her because she reminds me more of Kurapika when he is "happy" like at the beginning of HxH, when his eyes were mostly always greenish-blueish, and he wasn't "consumed" by revenge and such, like not as serious....Though I think they did alright in using Kimura Akiko for "Longing for Pakunoda", because of it's darker type setting/mood.

Date: 2007-01-29 11:13 pm (UTC)The Hunter x Hunter wikipedia article looks much nicer than it did the last time I read it; I think the thing that really irked the last time was the spelling of Kuroro's name (it was spelled like it appears in the Viz translation).
I agree with Kaida Yuki looking 'happier', but from Kimura's interview, I can see it in her, too, though not to the same extent. It'd be fascinating if they had made a DVD of the first musical reprise so we could compare Kaida and Kimura in the same part, I think.
[I think Kimura also filled in for Kurapika during some of the radio dramas they did, but that supposition is based solely from photos I've seen from the recording sessions.]
I can't recall who it was, but someone who wrote a review of the musicals commented that they were surprised by Kaida's lack of stage presence. At the time, I didn't agree with them, but I do think Kimura has a stronger presence. Kaida, however, I consider the better singer.

Your very welcome *hug*
I was actually surprised at how big it has become. Yes the name changes 'irk' be too...actually it is why I having purchased the GNs yet.
I still think Kaida Yuki is very pretty >.> Yeah that would be very cool :)
Radio dramas? =O
Agreed.
re-commented due to bad coding and spelling 'irk', 'urk' <.<

Date: 2007-02-13 05:12 am (UTC)Kaida Yuki is pretty. I can't find my favourite photo of her, but here's Kaida Yuki with Mitsuhashi Kanako and Takeuchi Junko and Kaida with only Mitsuhashi. [I think Takeuchi's hair is so neat in the first photo.] The rest of that website is worth exploring; it has nineteen pages of photos that, even though they're Mitsuhashi-centric, include a number from Hunter x Hunter events. And even though it's blurry, I really like this photo of Mitsuhashi and Takeuchi. This, however, is my favourite Mitsuhashi/Takeuchi photo; it used to be on Takeuchi's website - which also had a number of photo galleries - but I can't find the link anymore.
Yes, Hunter x Hunter radio dramas. According to the Japanese wikipedia article: 「HUNTER×HUNTER R」というラジオ番組を2000年4月から2005年3月まで放送。 [A radio program called 'Hunter x Hunter R' was broadcast from April 2000 until March 2005.] So it actually lasted pretty long! Hunter x Hunter [Dot] it used to have an image gallery of all the covers of the CD releases. You can buy some of them on Amazon.jp; they cost about $30 per CD [!], though that's not exactly unusual for Japan.
There are also separate drama CDs, such as this one, though I'm not sure how many there are and they tend to be somewhat on crack. Here's a fuller list of Hunter x Hunter CDs they've made, but it's still not everything.
(For the last link, 「サントラCD」 is soundtracks, 「キャラクターCD」 is character CDs, 「ドラマCD」 is drama CDs, and 「ラジオCD」 is radio CDs.)
I have a number of the Hunter x Hunter R covers saved on my hard drive that I downloaded back when Hunter x Hunter [Dot] it had the gallery up; if you'd like to see them and can't find them elsewhere, I can upload them. Most of the ones I saved have Gon and Killua on the cover.
