VANCOUVER CANUCKS GAME ON CBC'S "HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA" OCTOBER 9TH @ 10:30PM!!!!!!

For these Olympics, I tried not to dwell with politics and such. I simply enjoyed the Spirit of the games. I never agreed with a boycot, as all those atheletes & their families had so much invested. Not just money-though a lot gets spent in sponsering, training, & facilities-, but emotionally. Unless the atheletes themselves choose not to go, then I will cheer them throughout. Sure I am not happy with some of the crap of that went-on, but it has already been done and I cant do anything personally. Ceremonies were beautiful though! Mascots were well designed~

18 medals total for my country!~ Gold: 3, Silver: 9, Bronze: 6 [which when I scibbled-down, wrote in French...no idea why...], considering Canada had no medals for the 1st week ^^;

I wish I had the money, and was still in good contact with Trevor, so I could go to Vancouver in 2010, but I doubt I will be able to. I would like to see lacross, men's hockey(for if Luongo plays), luge, or snowboarding. I shall watch on CBC though!~ Go Canada!♥~

The Detroit Red Wings won the Stanley Cup, 3-2 over the Pittsburg Penguins, in game 6! The after-game celebration is very emotional. Fleury is still awesome though! Im happy for them even though "my" team didnt make it to the finals. Maybe next year though the wonderful Vancouver Canucks will win it!~ I will definatly be rooting for them! [if they make it to the finals I promise to party sooo hard] Woooo!~ [and if Im not in Canada, there better be CBC avalible! Im not going to miss a Canucks' game if I can help it!]

Marc-Andre Fleury was equal to Roberto Luongo! Damn all the shots he blocked! Woooo!~

Once again sympathy to Luc Boudon's love ones. He was only a year older than me and had a lot of good things going for him. His girlfriend has my thoughs.

I taped the premier of "The Mole", in order to watch what I thought would possibly be the last game of the Stanley Cup finals [I did switch to CTV for a smidge to see the segment from Luc Bourdon's funeral] The Detroit Red Wings are at 4/7 over the Pittsburg Penguins.

Well it is now 7mins left in double over-time (thanks to Talbot's 48sec goal~). I am glad it is East Coast, because I am reminded of the post-season Vancouver Canucks' games from 2007 D: I do not want to be up till 4am watching two teams I do not really root for. I did so for the wonderful Canucks though! I am really liking Malkin since he has been right-in-there a lot.

I went on the bus to Greenwood(nearest mall to my rural town) at noon, dispite throwing-up a lot this morning. I had to do some errands for Wendy first--including picking-up one of my birthday presents -_-; I then looked in Hangers & found a camo jersey that will work if I cant get a blue camo long-sleeve tee in time. I then walked to Zellers & laid-away that 2GB MP3 player,& a cheap action movie. I then decided to catch the 5pm bus, instead of the 3pm one. I also bought a flowerpot & a hotdog&Coca-Cola in support of the Relay for Life. I saw a awesome hat(I have a addiction) through Dollarama's window & had to go in. I bought:a wasp-trap&a ornament[both for Juney],a pinwheel!thing,a AWESOME twin!revolver!suction-cup set,& 4 cheesy-looking movies.They are 'made in Canada'&are:"King Arthur;The Young Warlord","Mob War","Shaolin Drunk Monkey",&"Scandal Sheet". How could I resist for only $1each? Then I went back to the main mall & went to Roo's Playhouse's arcade(which has a offical!name I think).Cont in comnts

Well the Canucks won 5-3 last night. Luongo is now back after a rib injury (was back last game). My springkink got through. One of the mods replied asking, and I can reply with my e-mail link. Now I have till Feb 1st & Feb 3rd :D In other news my mobile phone must go back to Telus as the OK button is stuck-under the metal keypad...there goes $150 :-(
