November 17th, 2011 from Mobile

Well I got up early due to brats acting up. The things that I find in strange places because the cats decide to play may always surprise me! But yes, when I got up I moved my desk and such out of the room again, then we took the bedding off my bed. Nicki & Lydia are helpers. Then June & Wendy took my bed apart while I dragged the matress out. My bed has not been out of this room in around 20 years. It was so weird to have nothing on my side of the room. Then after sweeping and mopping I waited for the delivery people--They were almost 2 hours late. My new bed is HUMONGOUS! O_O It is so high up too due to the box spring, and lower to the floor than expected. I had to stack my television on top of 4 books to watch it from bed! D:

Tomorrow I have to get up early to take Lydia to the vets`. I am right nervous over this! She may be almost 8 months old, but isnt even 6lbs yet.

Lydia is back now

We got up early this morning to take Lydia over for her surgery. She was upset, and all of the cats were hungry (took the food dishes away at 8PM). But she still wanted to attack the receptionist`s hand as he wrote "Lydia Dumphy" on the identification. And she is waaay too hyper now D: So much for reduced activity!

After I got back I called Jordan`s Furniture about my bed. It is too ridiculously high up, & I have difficulty jumping/climbing into it (especially with my knee+back). Theyre going to exchange the 8`` box spring for a 4`` one, so I hope it works out better! But I need to wait as they only deliver down to this rural area every other Thursday.

"Cass Saunders" was the name of the woman I talked to first before Rick (the man who sold the bed) :-( Im really having a gnawing feeling in the pit of my stomach over everything. Last year this time was great. Now I feel awful+worthless in most everything -_- *bah* But there is still Desert Bus For Hope again!--So maybe Tuesday I will go bother Mattsles?

On Desert Bus For Hope

"Desert Bus" is a game where you drive in real-time across the Nevada Desert. The bus you drive is slow and pulls to the right. If you crash you have to wait for a tow truck to pull you all the way back from whatever way you came from...again in real-time. Me and Douchette (@KumquatDumpling who has been my friend since I was in grade 8, and gave me the "Captain" nickname) have played 6 hours of it.

Well the LoadingReadyRun group decided to set-up an online fundraiser to raise money for children by playing this game non-stop for daaaays. And it is fantastically wonderful! I urge everyone to at least check it out at www.desertbus.org and support if you can! I will be tuning-in and maybe repeat last year where Mattsles and I played the game, watched online, and drank Deceptive Sunrise cocktails! :-D There are pictures of that day up on my Google+ by the way~
