Writer's Block: Overnight it!

I actually buy things throughout the year. If I see something I think someone will like, I usually try to get it then. Now there are some things I buy online and I usually order those around November. I also try to keep an eye or an ear out for what people hint at wanting around this time of year, or just straight-out ask them. I dislike giving gift-cards as I guess I feel like there is less thought put into them.

I usually try to buy things throughout the year, too. Ditto trying to order things online in November. However, even though I rarely give gift cards, I really love receiving them, as long as they're for places I actually use regularly. (Which isn't too many for me -- Amazon.com, Sock Dreams, and InStockTrades, pretty much.) My paternal grandmother has simply sent a check for at least the past decade and I have no problems with that, though she does send a card with a note, too.
